About TAV Cleveland
The MISSION of The Afrikan Village and Cultural Center of Cleveland is to encourage personal growth and development through a proper perspective of Afrikan spirituality, self-awareness, education and enlightenment. It is necessary to understand that a proper spirituality is indispensable for true Afrikan liberation. We also understand and respect the fact that Afrikan spirituality may encompass the doctrines and teachings of a particular religion IF an individual chooses to relate to the Creator in such a fashion. Therefore, The Afrikan Village & Cultural Center of Cleveland promotes the resurrection and empowerment of Afrikan people through the truth about their ancient spiritual and cultural heritage.
The GOAL of The Afrikan Village and Cultural Center of Cleveland is to help Afrikans begin to examine our inner self, and to identify and dispel those characteristics that are foreign to us and inhibits our spiritual and personal growth and empowerment.
